They are great people to talk to and I have interviewed them before on my blog. They are very open to sharing their experiences and knowledge. This is what I believe makes them so extraordinary.
Philip Kotler is known as the father of digital advertising. He is the author of several books and has presented many talks around the globe. He is the Kellogg School of Management’s Professor of International Marketing. He is the author of many articles and the book Marketing Management: Analysis, Planning, and Control, which is still one of the most influential business books of all time.
The American Marketing Association calls Philip Kotler the “Father of Modern Marketing”. He was also awarded the Sheth Foundation Medal in Marketing Scholarship and Practice for his exceptional contribution.
Leaders International also awarded him the Lifetime Achievement Award. He was also named the third “Guru” in the top 30 management gurus. Nancy, his wife of over 55 years, is the proud father of nine grandchildren. They have been married for more than 55 years. A significant part of their glass collection was donated to the Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota.
David Aguilar
David Aguilar Amphoux was born with Poland syndrome and began to play with LEGOs during his childhood. He discovered his talent for inventing as a child. He started to create his own prosthetic arm. He was nine years old when his first prosthetic was built from LEGO bricks.
Aguilar, in his teens, designed an improved version of his prosthetic. Aguilar then created the first LEGO prosthetic that was fully functional. The Mk-I model was a Guinness World Record holder and quickly became a hit on social media. It was constructed using a Lego Technic Air Race Jet Kit. It was able to grasp objects using a pincer-like grip. A motor was also available in the Mk-II model, which enhanced grip.
Aguilar hopes to create models that have all fingers moving independently and the elbow moving. Aguilar will also attempt 3D printing.
Rand Fishkin
Rand Fishkin has been a pioneer in the development of some of the most successful digital marketing software and services over the past decade. He was a key figure in several startup’s success and helped to shape the Moz growth strategy, which is one of the most well-known names in SEO.
He is a regular keynote speaker and the author of many books, including Lost and Founder: An Honest Field Guide to Startup World. Many have also referred to him as the “Father in Digital Marketing”.
He is a tech genius and entrepreneur. He’s started many companies and launched Sparktoro, an audience intelligence tool.
